SSML located in Jiangsu Yizheng, connecting with Yangzhou in the east and Nanjing in the west, with Yangtze River in the south, and Nanjing-Qidong Railway and Nanjing-Nantong Expressway in the north, the traffic is very convenient.

Siemens (China) Ltd holds 85% shares of SSML. With about 1,500 employees and a total area of 125,000 square meters, the joint venture officially started operation on March 1, 2006, focusing on developing and manufacturing a full series of small and medium size low-voltage motors ranging from 0.3 kilowatts to 200 kilowatts for the international and domestic market. The main products are three phase asynchronous motors for general purpose and their sub-series such as explosion-proof motors, variable speed motors, brake motors and multi-speed motor according to IEC standard.
西門(mén)子持有西門(mén)子電機(jī)（中國(guó)）有限公司 85%的股份。公司擁有員工約1500余人，占地面積12.5萬(wàn)平方米。公司于2006年3月1日正式運(yùn)營(yíng)。公司致力于研發(fā)和生產(chǎn)具有廣泛應(yīng)用的技術(shù)先進(jìn)的、功率0.3-200KW的中小型電機(jī)產(chǎn)品供應(yīng)國(guó)際、國(guó)內(nèi)市場(chǎng)。主要產(chǎn)品有符合國(guó)際IEC標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的三相異步電機(jī)及其派生的防爆、調(diào)速、制動(dòng)、變速多級(jí)等系列交流電機(jī)產(chǎn)品。2007年銷(xiāo)售近六億元人民幣。
